NodeKit Collaborates with Syscoin and Polyhedra Network

We are excited to announce that NodeKit is partnering with Syscoin and Polyhedra Network to enable rollups that integrate Syscoin’s zkDA with decentralized sequencing, marking the first fully decentralized solution to scale blockchains through Bitcoin secured rollups. This collaboration is the culmination of many months of work for all three teams, and we are proud to share it with you!

NodeKit will integrate Syscoin’s zkDA to offer rollups integrated into SEQ, the decentralized shared sequencer built by NodeKit, the ability to use Syscoin’s zkDA, their Data Availability layer that is secured by Bitcoin. The reduction of costs for rollups through modular solutions such as DA layers demonstrates the importance of modularity in scaling blockchains. Rollups integrated into SEQ will have the option to utilize zkDA for their Data Availability.

Further, NodeKit will integrate Rollux, the first working example of a decentralized rollup secured by Bitcoin, into SEQ. Rollux is an L2 built by Syscoin that enables near-instant transfers and contract deployments, all while being secured by Bitcoin. In addition to being decentralized, Rollux will enjoy improved uptime and enhanced interoperability.

Polyhedra Network will use its zkBridge to enable seamless transactions between Bitcoin and Rollux. This allows for an easy integration of Bitcoin into the Syscoin ecosystem. zkBridge enables users to easily begin to utilize Rollux and begin to experience the enhanced interoperability, uptime, and decentralization provided by NodeKit.
